We made it!

Hey everyone! We made it out to Estes Park, CO and LT has started! We had a crazy trip out here! The first day was slow and long, but we finally made it to our group's favorite place... YORK, NEBRASKA! Thursday we ran into a lot of storms, but by the grace of God made it safely to Ft. Collins, Colorado. After we had gotten lunch, Jenn's mom had called and told us that there was a huge storm with tornadoes causing damage in Laramie, Wyoming, which is 40 miles west of Cheyenne, and it was headed straight in our direction. We were also told that there was another huge storm cell in the Ft. Collins area (where we were headed) and that a huge tornado was present and causing lots of damage. Here's where God's amazingness totally comes in! We prayed as a group for safe traveling mercies and that if we did run into either of the tornadoes that God would provide shelter and safety for us. We continued straight on from there, and found out that the storm in Laramie that was headed for us had strangely stalled over that city and wasn't moving on the radar. The other storm system moved off, and so the only bad weather we ran into were two huge rain storms with a lot of hail. Praise God for safely bringing all of us out here!
We've been here 2 days now, and we've all had our first day of work, and from what I hear, most everyone has enjoyed it. We've met with our project groups (and we're all in SWEET project groups this year, I'm totally excited to see what God's going to do with these groups this summer!) and last night was the LT opening ceremony. I can't speak for anyone else, but I know that for me personally, God was DEFINITELY moving and showing Himself to me. I'm nervous but definitely excited for what God is going to do this summer!
